Today we met a Japanese exchange student at my fiancée's boss's house.
She is 16, came from Kyoto, very friendly and nice girl. I can imagine she has got nice family in Japan. My friend said "Foreigners say Japanese students are not good." (I think she meant about behavior) It depends on person, I can tell. Today's student, she was good.
We made sushi together, included all host family. However the student was the worst! I could not believe that. I thought we (the student and I) would teach how to make sushi to the host family. But most time she was just taking the photos while we were making sushi. That was funny, never mind.
On next Tuesday I am going to take her to the town. She stays only ten days, I think it is not enough to get to know people here, but I hope one day she remembers about Whangarei and comes back.
It was rain today but we spent good time at warm home.
